What Resume Score Credits Are

The high-volume screening allowance — one credit per CV checked against a job description by the local semantic-similarity engine.

Resume Score is the platform's fast, high-volume screen: it measures how well a CV's content matches a job description using semantic similarity, flagging specifically missing terms — one credit per CV-against-job check. Because it's computationally lighter than full CMS scoring, its allowances run much higher: 100 on Starter, 500 on Growth, 2,500 on Professional, 10,000 on Business, 25,000 on Enterprise.

It's the workhorse behind Bulk Resume Screen: drop a folder of CVs against a role and every one gets checked, ranked, and made promotable into the pipeline.

01Resume Score vs CMS — when to use which

Resume Score answers "how close is this CV to this JD?" at scale and speed; CMS answers "how strong is this candidate against our weighted criteria?" with dimension-level rationale. Typical flow: Resume Score the pile, CMS-score the shortlist — which is why the two carry separate allowances.

02What consumes a check

Each CV evaluated against a job description consumes one check — including each CV in a bulk run. Re-viewing results is free; re-running the same CV is a new check.

Platform architecture & operations

A1How this is enforced in the platform

This allowance is not marketing copy over a spreadsheet — it is metered server-side. Counters live on the organisation record, are checked at the same chokepoints that serve the feature, and reset on the billing cycle. The usage page and the in-app Usage & Credits view read the same counters the enforcement uses, so what you see is what the platform is actually counting.

When a limit is reached the behaviour is honest: the action stops with the count that triggered it and the exact plan that lifts it — never a degraded silent mode. Everything written is yours to take: CSV exports and the Data Export app cover the same stores the product itself reads. The exit is as open as the entrance — by design, not concession.

Frequently asked questions

Is Resume Score AI-generated?
It's computed semantic similarity — deterministic for a given CV and JD, with the specific missing terms named. No generative model writes the score.
Do bulk runs consume one credit or many?
One per CV in the run — a 200-CV bulk screen consumes 200 checks.
What happens at the limit?
Checks pause until reset or upgrade — pipelines, stored results, and everything else stay untouched, and no overage is billed.
